We currently have 3 vacancies on our board of trustees, (with a specific treasurer role) and are looking for committed, people who are passionate about Hayle, its history and future, who would like to help shape the next phase of the Trust and the heritage centre.
Our Board is made up of people with a wide variety of backgrounds and interests, which enables us to operate effectively. We want to ensure diversity in skills, ages, abilities, and backgrounds.
The Board meets formally four times a year (with one of these meetings being the Annual General Meeting in November) and we have two subgroups which meet more frequently: the Heritage Subgroup and the Estate Maintenance Subgroup. These tend to meet every six weeks and report back to the full Board at the quarterly meetings.
